Reproduce your selected export

In the data table, the ZIP download gathers the CSV, companion JSON, pinned data, verification program and instructions. Extract the ZIP into one folder and run the command below. Alternatively, keep the separate CSV and JSON downloads together. The JSON records the period, unit, scenario, ordering and exact files needed to repeat the calculation.

1. For separate downloads, download both files with the same table selections. Save them as selected.csv and companion.json in one folder.
2. In companion.json, find dataset.bundle_url, dataset.manifest_url and verifier.url. Download those three exact files into the same folder, even if the website has since published a newer release.
3. With Node 24 or later, run the command below. Once the files are downloaded, verification needs no network, packages or repository access.

Success means the exact same CSV was reconstructed: amounts, ranges, alternative scenarios, row order, labels and references. The verifier, data and export checksums are also checked. The period filters rows; it does not change the start of the counterfactual scenarios.

This check covers the selected data-table export. It does not certify historical sources or cover personal calculations or a different scenario start. A changed or incompatible file stops verification with an error.

Current replay program: selected-data-view-v1. For an older export, use the program identified by its own JSON.

Reproduce a personal budget or Reverse calculation

Save calculation JSON keeps the inputs, results and calculation version. Reverse includes every year under the selected target and wage basis. A personal budget also preserves optional delivery costs, price comparison and income when entered. The PNG image is a summary; reproduction requires the JSON.

1. Save the JSON as scenario.json. Download the program from that file’s verifier.url as reproduce-personal-v1.mjs.
2. If dataset contains an archive, download dataset.bundle_url and dataset.manifest_url as bundle.json and manifest.json. This applies to Reverse and a budget using the reference price. If dataset is null, prices are personal assumptions and no Index dataset is needed.
3. With Node 24 or later, run the relevant command in that folder. Verification works offline after downloading.

Reverse or a budget using the reference price:

Budget using your own price:

The verifier recalculates results and checks file fingerprints. It does not certify personal inputs, original historical sources or the merits of an economic policy. Reverse is a mathematical purchasing-power equivalent. The image link opens the current application; the JSON identifies the saved calculation.

Current program: personal-calculation-v1. For an older calculation, use verifier.url in its saved JSON.

Continue a saved calculation

In the tool where you saved the file, choose Load calculation JSON. Reproduction JSON files are supported for Reverse, personal budgets, personal wages and future scenarios. Legacy personal JSON, CSV companion JSON and PNG images are not import files.

1. Choose the file on your device. It is not uploaded to the Gyronomics database. Where needed, only the pinned public archive data is downloaded.
2. Validation checks the format, fingerprints and arithmetic. Before anything changes, you see the saved inputs, results and dataset version.
3. Apply inputs to the current calculation transfers the selections into the tool. The new calculation uses current data and can differ from the saved result. Read the preview note for treatment of an old reference price or a different scenario.

File limit: 512 KiB. Incompatible or changed files do not alter current selections. Inputs unsupported by the current tool are not silently truncated. Passing an arithmetic check does not certify personal assumptions.

Independent verification of the new exports

Save the JSON as scenario.json and download dataset.bundle_url, dataset.manifest_url and verifier.url from that file. In the same folder, with Node 24 or later, run the relevant command. Saved values and assumptions are recalculated offline after download.

Personal wage:

These links point to the current programs. For an older file, follow its own verifier.url. Future scenarios express assumptions, not a forecast or policy recommendation.
