What the check covers, and what it does not
Covered
- The series: index, classic index and bands, for every year.
- The per-row provenance notes of the table, and the figures they quote.
- The CSV and JSON exports, and all three derivation scenarios.
- The i18n dictionary strings and the FAQ answers: every amount and gyro count inside them.
- Head meta (title, description, share-card alt): every gyro count, gyro price or base-100 value that names no year of its own is compared with the latest year. Those written inside routes are scanned by the same rule at build time.
Not covered here
- Hard-coded copy inside components. This check also runs in the browser, where files cannot be read - a separate build-time check scans them.
- Historical copy (past releases, changelog): it may legitimately quote figures that no longer hold.
