One habit, three example bills
One gyro a week costs an average of €18.42 a month and €221.00 a year. Two cost €36.83 and €442.00. Three cost €55.25 and €663.00, respectively.
These frequencies are illustrative examples. They do not come from a survey of how often people eat gyros. Your own calculation can use the average frequency that fits you, even if individual weeks vary.
From a weekly habit to a monthly average
The calculator uses a convention of 52 weeks and 12 months per year. It multiplies price × weekly quantity × 52, then divides annual cost by 12. Two wraps a week therefore become 104 a year.
The monthly amount is a planning average, rather than a forecast for each calendar month. Rounding happens when results are displayed: the annual total uses the original amounts instead of multiplying an already rounded monthly figure by twelve.
What a small price difference adds up to
Suppose the price rises by €0.50 per wrap and the frequency stays at two a week. The difference becomes €52.00 a year. This illustrates how a small price change repeats across the year. It is not an observed increase or a forecast.

The reference price and your own shop
The €4.25 input comes from the 2026 era-price series in Gyronomics. It is a reference estimate subject to the series' assumptions and sampling limits. Your preferred shop may charge a different amount. The corresponding year page explains where the figure comes from.
